IX Remote connect (Channel+port)

RASCOM is offering to their Customers the " Channel+port” service. This service allows remotely connecting the customer's network to the IP services providers' ports located within RASCOM network coverage zone.

The Service includes:

  • connecting the customer's network to RASCOM’s network;
  • transporting and connecting to the IP services provider's port along with further maintaining this connection.

The " Channel+port” service is arranged on the basis of "point-to-point" connection and it is provided as a communication line guaranteeing a defined capacity. RASCOM’s responsibility zone extends from the port in the point where the customer is connected to the IP services provider's port including the operability of the IP services provider's port at both physical and logical levels.

Transpotation from the point of connection to RASCOM’s network to the IP services provider's port can be arranged by:

  • a RASCOM network communication circuit and/or its contractor’s network;
  • virtual circuit VPN L2 or L3/MPLS.

Data transfer rate can reach up to 400 Gbps and is defined by bandwidth of IP services provider at his IP network equipment interface.

In terms of this service RASCOM enables its customers to connect to such main points of traffic exchange as MSK-IX, SPB-IX, LINX, AMS-IX, FICIX, NETNOD, DE-CIX, FRANCE-IX, NIX.CZ, Peering.cz and global networks Cogent and Level 3.

While keeping the commercial relations with RASCOM the you get the full access to the abovementioned sources along with professional technical support to this connection by both RASCOM and IP service provider.
