RASCOM continues extending their presence geography, and, in November, it has arranged a new telecomm node at the premises of the data-center EvoSwitch, located at a distance of 19 kilometers from the city center of Amsterdam, at the address: J.W. Lucasweg 35, Waarder-en Veerpolder, Haarlem, The Netherland, 2031 BE.
The data-center of EvoSwitch, where the new RASCOM’s node is placed, has been built usage being made of the most up-to-date technologies, its geographic situation allowing to implement high quality level connectivity with America, Europe and Russia that are the main users of the INTERNET’s Russian-language traffic segment. In the EvoSwitch, main traffic exchange points are present, and the total connectivity size of the facility is in excess of 3 Tbps.
The EvoSwitch data-center is in possession of the ISO 27001 and 9001, PCI DSS (data security standard of the payment cards industry ) and SAS-70 security certificates, which confirms high reliability level of the data-center and permits to install the equipment of the most demanding categories of customers, and, in particular, the banks.
The newly organized telecomm node has improved the accessibility level to the company’s services for the customers and partners. Being connected to the new node, the operators will be able, as it is the case at other nodes of RASCOM that are situated in the cities of Russia and in Europe, to use the services such as: circuit lease (up to Nx10G), INTERNET – transit and VPN.
